Two Teaching Positions at Unique Learning Center (Fairview, Tex.)

Reply to: vickirmcle@sbcglobal.net

The Robert Muller Center for Living Ethics in Fairview, Texas, is seeking two dedicated teachers for whom education is an avocation. These teachers are needed for RMCLE's K/1 students ages 5-6 and our lower elementary students. The ideal candidates are seeking new paths in child guidance and education. They would ardently support an educational approach in which heart intelligence is at the core and children love to learn while developing a deep respect for nature.

These teachers will be participating in a pioneering effort. They will work closely with the director and creator of a unique, groundbreaking curriculum to further refine the proprietary philosophy/approach of The Harmonies Way.

Storytelling is the pivot and springboard for project-oriented work creating constructive outlets for the multiple intelligences. Appreciation for nature and the human family is key to our non-coercive approach. Children’s interest is based on patience, understanding and attractiveness of the curriculum’s offerings rather than coercion.

These teachers need to have highly developed interpersonal intelligence as well as a yearning for the reformation of mainstream education. They must be adept at or eager to become a guides, orchestrators and encouragers of children. The chosen applicants will train directly with Vicki Johnston, M.Ed, director and creator of Teaching Stories Curriculum.
